About Jean Seguin, PREC
Jean Seguin is a real estate expert and a former restaurant owner based in Vancouver. He started as an investor in 2001, and in 2004 became the owner and restaurateur of the local favorite establishment, Smoking Dog Bistro. Jean’s French bistro operated for quite a time within the lower Kitsilano region until he chose to sell his business in November 2010. After selling the restaurant, Jean went back to his first career and got involved with real estate operating in the Vancouver, B.C. area.

Starting his career in Sales and Marketing Sean has worked for 3 of the largest world brands with his last role as Key Account Manager of Western Canada. He then transitioned to hospitality 15 years ago as an owner of a predominant Irish Pub and nightclub in Calgary.
Sean then moved to operations to help develop 2 nationally recognized restaurant chains, one from its inception. While with CRAFT BEERMARKET he then had the opportunity to act as International Operations manager based out of Shanghai, China, dealing in negotiations with the Chinese government and the local inspection agencies.
Once back, he moved to the construction side of the business assisting as the liaison between the restaurants and the general contractors. This led to the building of 3 very unique 10,000 square foot restaurants.
With Sean’s range of restaurant experience, sales and marketing knowledge, combined with his first hand ability to understand construction, he brings experience and value to a team of already strong industry and real estate leaders.
